The 11th MEDYS Chefs’ Competition concluded with the announcement of this year’s winners across the Golden and Platinum categories, celebrating exceptional culinary talent, creativity, technical expertise, and presentation onboard. Over two days of competition, participating yacht chefs embraced this year’s theme, “The Greek Tomato: Reimagined,” transforming one of Greece’s most iconic ingredients into sophisticated gastronomic creations that showcased innovation while honouring the country's rich culinary heritage.
Evaluating the entries was an esteemed panel of judges comprising Michelin-starred chefs and distinguished representatives from the international yachting industry. Returning to MEDYS were George Papazacharias of the two Michelin-starred Delta Restaurant and Luca Piscazzi of the one Michelin-starred Pelagos Athens, whose culinary expertise brought exceptional insight to the judging process. They were joined by Angus Cook of TJB Super Yachts for the Platinum Category and Natalya Manoukian of Edmiston Yachts for the Golden Category, ensuring that each dish was assessed not only for its gastronomic excellence but also for its relevance to the luxury yachting experience.This year’s winners included:
